Gary Daly

I am Irish. I am a twin. I have been involved in tech sales for over 10 years. I am passionate about personal development, public speaking, meditation, football and the gym. Fun Fact: I climbed a mountain in Poland in January 2020 with Dutch daredevil Wim Hof (Google him if you don't know him) in shorts in minus 8 degrees!

After finishing my studies in Ireland, I have had the pleasure of working in Sydney (2008 -2014) and London (2014-2018) before moving back to Galway, Ireland. In March 2023, my Wife and I relocated to Dubai for an amazing career and life opportunity.

I joined this company in 2014 as the first SDR in EMEA. I fell in love with the culture and have enjoyed several different roles here. Our Mission is connecting passionate people to their mission by simplifying the digital workplace.

We were founded in 2006, by 3 grad students at MIT who had previously worked on an experimental Wi-Fi program known as Roofnet. They pioneered cloud networking, after finding out it was much easier to deploy, manage, control their wireless Access Points by hosting the controllers in the cloud instead of having to go onsite to manage them.

Fast forward to late 2012: Meraki was acquired by Cisco - to become “Cisco Meraki”. Since then, we’ve expanded and innovated to include a full networking portfolio in addition to wireless.

In 2017, we expanded beyond IT networking products to IoT. Starting with our MV smart cameras launch for physical security. IoT sensors are also part of our portfolio

Today, we have over 15 years designing scalable and secure cloud architecture. All our products are designed to be 100% cloud managed with a GUI-based dashboard, no controllers on site.
